Veersen Ghatge, Managing Director

Veersen has nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, primarily focused on the Marketing & Technology Services sector. Prior to joining Evalla Advisors, Veersen was a Managing Director at Madison Alley, an independent investment bank focused on Digital Marketing, Media & Commerce. Before moving back into Investment Banking, Veersen was a founding partner at a private investment firm focused on Technology & Marketing Services firms. As an investor, Veersen has developed significant expertise in the strategic and financial investment considerations unique to the lower middle market. Earlier in his career, Veersen was an Investment Banker in the Technology, Media and Telecom group at Wells Fargo Securities. At Wells, Veersen was involved in private and public company M&A and helped raise more than $10 billion in debt and equity financings for clients. Veersen has an MBA from New York University, M.S. in Computer Science from Binghamton University and B.E. Computer Engineering from University of Pune, India.

Personal Statement

Veersen is deeply committed to advancing education for children in India. He believes education is one the most powerful tools to break cycles of poverty and unlock human potential.

Through his involvement with CASP India, he personally sponsors a child’s education, covering costs from early schooling through college, to help open pathways that would otherwise be out of reach and achieve their position in the globalized world. What drew him to CASP’s model is its holistic approach: beyond academics, children are encouraged to explore music, art, and sport to develop as confident, well-rounded individuals.

For Veersen, it’s an investment in future change-makers, and a reflection of his belief that opportunity should never be determined by geography or circumstance.
